National Library Week in India is celebrated from November 14 to 21. The Indian Library Association (ILA) has celebrated this week since 1968. The week’s activities include programs to promote reading and library awareness.  

The week’s objectives include:

• Promoting the importance of libraries Encouraging personal and professional growth
