The Research Colloquium at Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College of Education (Autonomous) serves as a unique academic platform where faculty members, research scholars, and prospective teachers of the College of Education contemplate to engage in scholarly discourse, exchange innovative ideas, deliver addresses on thrust areas of research, and present and discuss ongoing or completed research projects.
The Research and Development Cell of the College of Education organizes Research Colloquiums periodically to fulfill the following objectives and to achieve excellence in research. These endeavors contribute to the fulfillment of the vision and mission of the College.
Objectives

- To encourage faculty members and scholars to discuss novel ideas and emerging research areas that facilitate the exchange of knowledge and inculcate research culture.
- To provide researchers a venue to solicit helpful comments from experts in their field, with the end in view of improving their research outputs.
- To allow researchers to gain “home court experience” that enhances their research skills.
- To facilitate peer review sessions where research scholars can receive constructive feedback on their research work that enhances the quality of their research.
- To promote ethical research practices and accountability in all aspects of scholarly inquiry.
