About the Placement Cell
The job of placement is becoming a challenge to every institution, as there are number of Teacher Education institutions coming up in Tamilnadu, the competition for employment is increasing rapidly
A career placement cell has been functioning in the college since 2000 to facilitate placement for our students and this cell arranges campus interview for our students. Nearly 65% of the students have been assisted by the placement cell in placing them in various schools/ institutes. About 25% of our students prefer to undergo higher studies. Most of the students were placed after the completion of B.Ed/M.Ed courses
Objectives of the Placement Cell

To liaise between students, alumni, and the work place.

To maintain a data base comprising details of the students to be placed

To assist the students to develop/clarify their academic and career interests

To provide resources and plan for activities to facilitate the career planning process.

To create an awareness among students regarding future career options.

To assist the schools/institutes in recruiting candidates as per their requirements

Guidelines
The Campus recruitment procedure of our college as,

The interested schools in conducting campus recruitment need to send their requisition letter to the Principal/Placement Officer of the college.

Based on the time availability in the regular working days /weekend a mutually convenient date (single day) for the institute will be finalised by the Principal/ Placement Officer

Any specific requirement of the schools/institutes (based on the subject) has to be communicated to the Principal/Placement Officer in charge at least one week in advance to avoid any inconvenience during their campus visit.

At the end of the selection process, the final list of provisionally selected students/short listed is to be handed over to the Principal on the same day.

Detailed offer letter may be sent to the Principal/placement cell for distribution among the selected students.

Students will join the schools/institutes only after the completion of their courses.
