Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College of Education is the first Autonomous College of Education in India. As a result, the library has been automated by implementing RFID Technology. Very few college libraries in India have been automated by implementing State of the Art of RFID Technology. Our College Library, the first one in India at the college level is being automated by implementing RFID Technology.

The library has very strong collection in the field of teacher education. Hence it is one of the leading libraries, its meets out the versatile needs of Teachers, Researchers, P.G and U.G students in the field of Teacher Education. It has regular visitors of research scholars across the country. The library provides services to disabled students also. The library has also special collection for competitive examinations. The library is proactive in providing library services to cater for versatile needs of its users. The ultimate aim of the library is to make it as User Centered.
