National Science Day – Field Trip

On the occasion of National Science Day, Sri Ramakrishna Mission Vidyalaya College of Education organized a field trip to REGIONAL SCIENCE CENTRE – Coimbatore, for the second-year B.Ed and first-year M.Ed students. The trip aimed to enhance their understanding of various scientific concepts and provide practical exposure that could be utilized in teaching across subjects.

Objectives:

1. To observe and analyze scientific principles in real-world settings.

2. To explore the application of scientific knowledge across different subjects.

3. To gather teaching strategies and materials for incorporating scientific concepts into lesson plans.

The field trip proved to be an enriching experience for the students, providing them with valuable insights into the practical application of scientific concepts across various subjects. By incorporating hands-on activities and interdisciplinary approaches, they gained the necessary tools to create dynamic and engaging lesson plans that promote scientific literacy among their future students.
